News Feature

This news feature is about ASU students and their relationship with the homeless animals in downtown Phoenix. The video features graphs about the homeless animal population in Arizona, places where these animals are seen around campus, a cat spotted on campus, and two interviews with ASU students, Moira Boyes and Hunter Hulburd. Boyes and Hulburd are asked about their personal experiences with animals on campus.

 

The video aims to spread awareness of the issue of homeless animals in Phoenix and hear stories from students. The video also offers external links to opportunities to get involved with the homeless animal issue.

Char O'Neil hosts an interview with Tina Wilcox to discuss homeless animals in Phoenix. O'Neil is a student at the Cronkite School at Arizona State University. Wilcox is the Director of Operations at the Humane Animal Rescue and Trapping Team, also known as H.A.R.T.T. Wilcox shares H.A.R.T.T.'s mission, their struggles, their successes, and how others can get involved.
